Colorado River Runs offers raft trips on two rivers, the Colorado River and the Eagle River. The Colorado River is our family run, with fun rapids, a deep canyon, and spectacular mountain scenery in an isolated setting. Our Eagle River whitewater adventure plunges down the Vail Valley in a torrent of fun and excitement. The Eagle River has more advanced rapids and is not recommended for children or the faint of heart.

Safety is our primary concern on all of our Colorado River rafting adventures. Each raft is guided by a skilled professional and our sturdy Avon rafts are recognized as the best in the world. Every participant wears a Coast Guard approved life jacket and a safety briefing is given before each trip. Our safety record remains perfect. We are one of the first rafting companies licensed by the State of Colorado, Colorado River Runs operates under Special Use Permits issued by the Bureau of Land Management.

We are the only locally owned river outfitter on the Upper Colorado River. We meet our guests at our headquarters in Radium, CO, an antique ranching town located in the heart of the Colorado River Valley. We meet in the 90 year old ranchhouse and the original one room schoolhouse still stands. The 100 year old barn is home to our donkey preserve. Our guests love to meet and hang out with our donkeys. Radium is a scenic drive from Vail, Avon, Winter Park, Steamboat and Breckenridge. Colorado River Runs is licensed by the state of Colorado and operates under special use permits issued issued by the United States Bureau of Land Management.
